About the Irish Feminist Network website.
The IFN is a members-based organisation committed to promoting gender equality in Ireland. Five co-ordinators currently oversee the IFN’s work in the broad areas of policy and research, outreach and events, and campaigns and advocacy. The organisation is open to all women and men in Ireland interested in working towards a more just and equitable society through the elimination of gender inequalities. The Who, What and Why of the Irish Feminist Network
Who we are: We are a group of young women, from a variety of backgrounds, who volunteer to run this organisation.
What we are: We are committed to raising awareness around feminist issues through events, publications, and campaigns and we hope to engage a new generation of young women and men in the feminist movement.
Why we are: We work towards the elimination of all gender inequalities in Ireland in the belief that a more equal Ireland will be better for both women and men.
